  1. General Provisions and Scope of Services

    1. Application of the Terms and Conditions
      1. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Platform, together with all services, features, and facilities provided through the Platform.
      2. These Terms and Conditions apply to all Users, both Job Seekers and Companies, insofar as they are relevant to the type of service accessed or used by the User concerned.
      3. Where a service has additional requirements presented before it is used or purchased, those requirements form part of these Terms and Conditions for the relevant service. The User must ensure that use of the Platform complies with laws and regulations and the rights of other parties. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, limit, or waive any User right that cannot be waived under applicable laws and regulations.
      4. The use of additional services does not by itself transfer the User's full responsibility to the Operator. Each party remains responsible for its own actions, decisions, information, and obligations within its sphere of control and responsibility under these Terms and Conditions.
      5. The Platform may be used to facilitate interaction between Job Seekers and Companies. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the Operator is not the employer of any Job Seeker, does not act as a party to the employment relationship between a Job Seeker and a Company, and does not represent either party in that employment relationship.
      6. Where the Operator provides an additional service involving the execution of part of a recruitment process, the scope of the Operator's authority and responsibility is limited only to matters expressly agreed for that service.
      7. Information, recommendations, matching results, CV Extraction results, and other output produced by AI-based features are supporting information and do not by themselves guarantee the accuracy, completeness, correctness, or suitability of such results for any particular purpose.
      8. The Operator may develop, update, change, add, restrict, suspend, or discontinue features or parts of the Platform's services for purposes of development, maintenance, security, legal compliance, or other operational reasons.
    2. Scope of Services
      1. The Operator provides the Platform as a digital facility supporting job seeking, job vacancy publication, candidate search and management, recruitment processes, and other activities related to employment.
      2. Services available on the Platform may include:
        1. creation and management of User profiles;
        2. publication, search, and browsing of job vacancies;
        3. submission, receipt, and management of applications;
        4. search, management, and review of candidate profiles;
        5. CV Extraction and processing of information relating to candidates;

The Operator does not guarantee that any job vacancy will remain available, that any application will receive a response, that any Job Seeker will obtain a job, or that any recruitment process will produce candidates who meet a Company's needs.
    3. Integrations and Third-Party Services
      1. To support certain functions of the Platform, the Operator may use or integrate technology or software provided by Third-Party Technology Providers.
      2. Where the use of a third-party service involves the processing of Personal Data, such processing must be carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations.
      3. The Operator will take reasonable steps, in line with its roles and obligations, to select, integrate, and manage the use of Third-Party Service Providers used to support the Platform.
      4. Where a disruption, failure, or problem originates from a Third-Party Service Provider, the handling of and allocation of responsibility for that problem will be determined based on the nature of the problem, each party's role and control, and the terms of the applicable agreement.
  2. Registration and Account Security

    1. A Job Seeker Account may only be registered by a person who is at least 18 years old. The User must provide information that is true, accurate, and complete, and must update it if any changes occur. The Operator has the right to verify identity or authority and to reject registrations that do not meet the requirements.
    2. A Job Seeker Account is personal. The Operator is responsible for determining which personnel are entitled to access the Account and for revoking such access when their authority ends. The User must keep their credentials confidential and must not transfer the Account or the right to use the services to any unauthorized person.
    3. The Operator may refuse or suspend registrations that use false data, cannot be verified, or are suspected of being made to abuse the Platform. The User must keep their contact address up to date so that notices concerning the Account, transactions, and service changes can be received. A notice sent to the last contact address registered is deemed delivered, provided that its delivery can be proven.
    4. To prevent fraud, You must keep Your Account confidential and may not disclose or share it with anyone. You agree to promptly notify the Operator of any unauthorized use of the Account or other relevant security breach through cs@karir.com. During an investigation, the Operator has the right to restrict access and request the evidence necessary to recover the Account. The User is responsible for use of the Account caused by their negligence or by their granting of access, without reducing the Operator's responsibilities under applicable provisions.
  3. Processing of Personal Data

    1. Personal Data is processed lawfully, in a limited, specific, transparent manner, and in accordance with the established purposes of processing and the applicable legal bases.
    2. Further provisions regarding the types of Personal Data processed, purposes and legal bases of processing, use, disclosure, storage, retention periods, deletion of Personal Data, and the rights of Personal Data Subjects are set out in the Platform's Privacy Policy.
  4. User Profiles and Applications

    1. Job Seekers are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and validity of the information and documents submitted through the Platform, including but not limited to profiles, CVs, certificates, applications, and other supporting documents, and must ensure that they have the rights or authority necessary to use and submit such information and documents. Job Seekers may update their profile, set profile visibility, and request deletion of their Account through the means available on the Platform or by contacting cs@karir.com.
    2. Unless a Job Seeker sets their profile as private, the Job Seeker's profile may be accessed through the Resume Search feature by Companies that have been verified and granted access rights by the Operator. Such profiles are not available to general visitors through the Resume Search feature. Job Seekers understand that CVs or other documents uploaded to the Platform may contain identity and contact information that is not masked. Therefore, Job Seekers must review the contents of any document before uploading it and consider what information to include.
    3. By submitting an application to a Company through the Platform, the Job Seeker grants the receiving Company permission to access the application information, profile, CV, attached documents, and assessment results provided or included in that application, insofar as they are relevant to the relevant recruitment process. Changes to privacy settings or a request to delete the Account after an application has been submitted do not automatically withdraw or delete copies of information and documents already received by the Company. The Company is responsible for the storage, use, and further processing of information and documents within its possession in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
    4. Results or information generated by Platform features for a Job Seeker's personal use, and which are not included in an application, are not available to Companies through the Resume Search feature or the application process, unless the Job Seeker separately chooses or agrees to share them through an available feature. A Job Seeker may disable or stop job recommendations through Account settings, where such a feature is available. Such action does not cancel any application already submitted to a Company.
    5. Job Seekers must ensure that the information and documents submitted to Companies do not violate confidentiality obligations, intellectual property rights, rights in Personal Data, or the rights of other parties. Job Seekers are prohibited from providing false information or documents, impersonating others, or giving misleading statements regarding work history, education, qualifications, or other supporting documents. The Operator may request that a Job Seeker correct or delete information or documents that are reasonably suspected of violating these Terms and Conditions or applicable laws and regulations, and may take other actions in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
    6. Changes or deletions of information by a Job Seeker on the Platform apply to information held in the Operator's systems, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the mechanisms available. Such changes or deletions do not automatically alter or delete documents or records previously received or stored by a Company. Questions regarding selection decisions, the contents of interview invitations, or employment relationships must be directed to the relevant Company.
  5. Company Obligations

    1. A Company must post job vacancies that are genuine, lawful, accurate, and consistent with its recruitment needs. The Company warrants its right to use its identity, trademarks, logos, and advertising materials, and is responsible for the content of its vacancies, selection communications, and recruitment decisions.
    2. Candidate data obtained through the Platform may only be used for lawful recruitment purposes. A Company is prohibited from selling data, collecting CVs in bulk, transferring access to Resume Search, sending communications unrelated to recruitment, or charging candidates fees in a manner that violates the law. A Company must restrict personnel access and keep copies of data it receives secure.
    3. Where a Company enters the Personal Data of its candidates or employees into the Platform, the Company represents and warrants that the acquisition, disclosure, and processing of such Personal Data is carried out on a lawful basis and that it has fulfilled its obligations to inform the Personal Data subjects in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Candidate Personal Data entered by a Company for candidates who do not hold an Account on the Platform is not available to other Companies through the Resume Search feature. The Operator has the right to request evidence of the Company's compliance with the obligations referred to in this clause, and to refuse, restrict access to, or delete data that is reasonably suspected of not complying with these Terms and Conditions or applicable laws and regulations.
    4. A Company is responsible for responding to requests from data subjects regarding copies it manages. If a request relating to data on the Platform is submitted to the Operator, the parties will coordinate in accordance with their respective roles and obligations.
    5. A Company is prohibited from publishing advertisements that disguise sales activity, data collection, or other purposes as job vacancies. A Company is also prohibited from stating discriminatory requirements or requesting payment from candidates in a manner that violates applicable laws and regulations. The Operator has the right to request an explanation, delay publication, or take down an advertisement where there are reasonable grounds to suspect a violation.
    6. A Company must implement appropriate safeguards to ensure that recruiter accounts, work devices, and copies of CVs and candidate documents can only be accessed by authorized parties who need such access for recruitment purposes. Once the purpose of processing has ended, the Company is responsible for deleting, destroying, or restricting the processing of and access to copies of Personal Data within its possession, in accordance with applicable provisions and lawful retention requirements. The Operator's verification of a Company does not transfer the Company's responsibility for the lawfulness of acquisition, use, disclosure, security, storage, and deletion of Personal Data within its possession.
  6. Paid Services

    1. The price, quota, validity period, and scope of paid services are determined by the Order approved by the Operator and the Company. Unless otherwise specified in the Order, a job advertisement will be displayed for 30 (thirty) calendar days from its publication date on the Platform, and payment for paid services must be made no later than 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the date of booking. The Operator has the right to delay activation of paid services until the required payment has been received by the Operator.
    2. The Operator has the right to refuse, suspend, or stop the display of advertisements that violate these Terms and Conditions without any obligation to refund fees, to the extent permitted by law. Where the Operator stops a service for reasons not caused by a Company's breach, the Operator may refund unused fees, taking into account the display period that has already elapsed.
    3. Requests by a Company for cancellation, package adjustment, or payment correction may be submitted through cs@karir.com and will be handled based on the Order and the service benefits already used, without reducing rights guaranteed by applicable provisions.
    4. A Company must check the package type, price, taxes, quota, and validity period stated before completing a purchase. Access to paid benefits applies only for the agreed period or quota. A Company's failure to use all benefits for reasons within its control does not extend the validity period of the package, unless the Order states otherwise.
    5. Late payment may result in suspension of the related service after notice through the available channels. Suspension does not cancel payment obligations that have already fallen due. The Operator may correct administrative errors in invoices or package activation based on valid transaction evidence.
  7. Karir.com Associate and AI-Based Interviews

    1. The Operator may provide Karir.com Associate and other AI-based features through the Platform to help Users use the services, including but not limited to:
      1. providing, adjusting, and improving services;
      2. interacting with Users regarding Platform services and providing necessary technical support;
      3. training, verification, and quality assurance;
      4. AI-Based Interviews.
    2. Karir.com Associate generates Content and other output automatically. This may include recommendations, sorting, ranking, matching, or similar output to help Users identify relevant job vacancies, candidates, Profiles, or other Content. Because it is AI-based, output may contain errors, be incomplete, biased, out of date, or lack important context. Although we take reasonable steps to monitor performance and improve Karir.com Associate, we cannot guarantee that any output is accurate, complete, unbiased, or suitable for a User's particular circumstances.
    3. To the extent permitted by law, Karir.com Associate is provided "as is". The Operator is not responsible for output generated by Karir.com Associate or for a User's reliance on such output. Karir.com Associate is intended to assist Users and does not replace independent judgment or decision-making.
    4. Karir.com Associate does not make final decisions regarding recruitment or employment. Any decision to select, interview, engage, or reject a candidate is made solely by the Company concerned. Output does not constitute professional, financial, employment, recruitment, or legal advice and may not be relied upon without independent consideration. If a User has doubts or wishes to report a problem, the User may contact us through cs@karir.com.
    5. The Operator may retain records of a User's interactions with Karir.com Associate and the output generated, to provide Platform services and for the purposes set out in these Terms and Conditions, insofar as they do not conflict with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations.
    6. AI-Based Interviews are a feature that allows the interview process to be conducted with AI assistance, including but not limited to delivering questions, receiving and processing participants' answers, and generating output or information related to the interview. The availability of AI-Based Interviews may depend on the availability of features, technology, and supporting services used by the Operator.
    7. A Company is responsible for ensuring that the use of AI-Based Interviews in its recruitment process is carried out properly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to fulfilling obligations to provide information to, and obtaining any necessary consent from, interview participants, where required.
    8. A Job Seeker may use the AI-Based Interview feature to obtain initial questions generated or drafted with AI assistance as a means of interview preparation. Where a Job Seeker receives an interview invitation from a Company through the Platform, the Job Seeker may also take part in the interview session through a conversation guided by AI, in accordance with the mechanisms and features available on the Platform.
    9. Where an AI-Based Interview generates an Interview Recording, the storage, access, and management of the Interview Recording follow the technical mechanisms applicable to that feature. Where an Interview Recording is stored locally on a User's device, it may only be accessed through the device or means under the User's control, in accordance with the technical configuration of the relevant feature.
    10. The Operator may make changes, restrictions, suspensions, or discontinuations to Karir.com Associate and AI-based features, in whole or in part, for purposes of maintenance, service improvement, security, legal compliance, or other operational reasons.
  8. Content and Intellectual Property

    1. Rights in Content submitted, uploaded, or created by a User through the Platform remain with the User or other parties who lawfully hold rights in that Content. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions transfers ownership of Content to the Operator, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing by the party entitled to it.
    2. To the extent necessary to provide, operate, maintain, and improve the technical functions of the services used by the User, to maintain the security of the Platform, and to comply with legal obligations, the User grants the Operator a non-exclusive license to use the Content, limited to those purposes, including but not limited to storing, technically reproducing, displaying, processing, and forwarding Content to competent authorities or necessary supporting service providers. Exercise of this license must respect the rights of the party owning the Content and the applicable provisions on protection of Personal Data and confidentiality.
    3. The User warrants that submission of Content does not infringe the rights of other parties, including but not limited to intellectual property rights and rights in Personal Data. All rights in trademarks, software, designs, databases, and materials owned by the Operator or its licensors remain protected under applicable laws and regulations. No rights of use exist beyond those expressly granted in these Terms and Conditions.
    4. Unless expressly permitted by the Operator, Content on the Platform may only be used for the User's personal, non-commercial purposes. The User must retain any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices attached to the Content, where relevant and available. The User is prohibited from removing or altering such notices in a way that infringes the rights of lawful rights holders.
    5. The User may not otherwise reproduce, modify, copy, or distribute, or use for non-personal or commercial purposes, any Content on the Platform without prior written permission from the Operator.
    6. The Operator's right to use Content ends when the Content is no longer needed for the purpose of providing the relevant service, subject to legitimate storage needs, retention periods under the Privacy Policy, legal storage obligations, and Content or copies that have been lawfully received or stored by other parties. The Operator must handle deletion or cessation of use of Content in accordance with applicable provisions and must not use this clause as a basis for retaining use of Content beyond the permitted purposes.
    7. All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including but not limited to software, program code, designs, appearance, trademarks, logos, databases, documentation, and other materials owned or licensed for use by the Operator, remain the property of the Operator or its licensors and are protected under applicable laws and regulations. Unless expressly permitted in these Terms and Conditions or by written consent from the party entitled to it, the User acquires no ownership or usage rights in such intellectual property beyond the rights expressly granted to use the services.
    8. Where a User uses Karir.com Associate or other AI-based features to generate or process Content, rights in that Content are determined by the rights the User or other parties hold in the materials used, the nature of the Content generated, and applicable legal provisions. The Operator does not claim ownership of User Content merely because it was generated or processed through AI-based features on the Platform. The User remains responsible for reviewing and ensuring that use of such Content does not infringe the rights of other parties.
  9. Prohibited Use

    1. Users are prohibited from using a false identity, submitting Content that violates the law or the rights of other parties, including but not limited to content relating to fraud, pornography, discrimination, or incitement to hatred; uploading malicious software; sending unsolicited communications; and accessing accounts, data, or systems without authorization.
    2. Users are prohibited from disrupting the security or availability of the Platform, using automated data retrieval without permission, circumventing access limits, falsifying assessment results, or using candidate data for purposes other than those permitted. The Operator may refuse, restrict, or delete Content that violates these provisions and may keep the records necessary for investigation.
    3. The User is responsible for direct losses proven to arise from a violation of these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to third-party claims arising from Content or data submitted without right, to the extent such responsibility may be imposed under applicable laws and regulations.
    4. Users must not misuse the Platform's communication facilities to harass, threaten, express hatred, or collect contacts for marketing purposes beyond the purposes of the service. The Operator may follow up on reports by considering the evidence, the level of risk, and the rights of the parties involved, and may disclose information to authorities only where there is a valid legal basis.
  10. Investigation and Termination of Services

    1. The Operator has the right to investigate any suspected violation and, taking into account its nature and level of risk, may request clarification, restrict access, delete Content, suspend services, or close an Account. Permanent closure of an Account is determined after review by an authorized Operator officer.
    2. A User who considers such action to be mistaken may request a re-review through cs@karir.com, enclosing relevant evidence. The Operator may maintain temporary restrictions for as long as necessary to protect the Platform or other parties.
    3. Termination of an Account does not cancel payment obligations that have already fallen due, the Company's obligations regarding candidate data already received, or the rights of data subjects under the Privacy Policy. Disclosure of data to authorities takes place where there is a valid legal basis.
    4. The Operator may delete Content whose display period has ended, that violates the provisions, or that must be deleted by law. Suspension or deletion may take place without prior notice where necessary to prevent immediate harm or security disruption; in other circumstances, Karir.com will use reasonable means of notice.
  11. Availability and Liability

    1. The Operator makes reasonable efforts to keep the Platform accessible and functioning properly. However, the Operator does not guarantee that the Platform will always be available without interruption, or that all features will always function without error. The Operator may carry out maintenance, updates, repairs, or temporary restrictions on some or all Platform functions where necessary to maintain security, stability, or service quality, or to comply with legal obligations.
    2. Access to or performance of services may be disrupted by network outages, system or infrastructure failures, disruptions to third-party services, cyberattacks, actions of other parties, force majeure, or other events beyond the Operator's reasonable control. In such circumstances, the Operator will make reasonable efforts, in line with the nature of the disruption and its capacity, to restore services. This provision does not remove the Operator's liability for failures that remain its responsibility under law or agreement.
    3. The User is responsible for Content they submit or upload, the accuracy of the information provided, and actions taken through their Account. The User must ensure that such Content and activities do not violate these Terms and Conditions, the rights of other parties, or applicable laws and regulations. The User is also responsible for keeping Account credentials secure and must promptly notify the Operator if they become aware of, or ought reasonably to suspect, unauthorized access to their Account.
    4. The Operator provides the Platform as a means of supporting recruitment processes and does not take over a Company's responsibility for recruitment decisions, including but not limited to decisions to invite, assess, accept, or reject a Job Seeker. Information, recommendations, or results generated through AI-based features are supporting information and do not by themselves guarantee any particular result or decision. The Operator is also not responsible for the acts or omissions of Third-Party Service Providers beyond the Operator's reasonable control, without reducing the Operator's responsibility for its own acts, omissions, or obligations under law and these Terms and Conditions.
    5. Where a paid service cannot be provided in accordance with an Order for reasons within the Operator's responsibility, the Operator and the Company will take reasonable steps to restore performance of the service.
    6. To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect losses, loss of business opportunity, or loss of profit arising from the actions of Users or third parties beyond its control. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including intentional or gross negligence where applicable. Forms of remedy may include extension of the service period, the granting of service credits, proportional refund of fees, or other forms of remedy agreed in the Order or by the parties, subject to applicable provisions. The parties must take reasonable steps to mitigate losses incurred.
    7. To the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations, the Operator's liability to a Company for direct losses proven to arise from or be directly related to a Paid Service is limited to the maximum amount of fees paid by the Company for the Paid Service that directly gave rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded. The parties may expressly agree on different limits or arrangements for liability in the Order or other written agreement.
    8. The User must indemnify the Operator for direct losses and reasonable defense costs incurred by the Operator as a result of third-party claims, to the extent such claims are proven to arise directly from Content, data, or actions of the User that are unlawful, infringe the rights of other parties, or breach these Terms and Conditions. This obligation applies insofar as the losses can be legally attributed to the User and are not caused by the Operator's own error or breach of its obligations. The Operator must notify the User of such claims within a reasonable time and provide relevant information so that they can be handled properly.
  12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

    1. These Terms and Conditions are governed and interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
    2. Any dispute, controversy, or difference of opinion arising from or in connection with the use of the Platform, the Services, or the implementation of these Terms and Conditions shall first be settled by the parties through deliberation to reach agreement.
    3. If a dispute cannot be resolved through deliberation within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date one party gives written notice of the dispute to the other party, each party is entitled to pursue resolution through the competent court in accordance with applicable provisions.
  13. Miscellaneous Provisions

    1. The Operator may amend or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in services, operational needs, technological developments, or applicable laws and regulations. Such changes will be notified to Users through the Platform or by email to cs@karir.com. Changes take effect from the date specified in the notice.
    2. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is declared invalid, unenforceable, or cannot be implemented under applicable law, that provision does not affect the validity and enforceability of the other provisions. The parties will interpret or adjust the provision to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law, without changing the main intent of these Terms and Conditions, insofar as this is legally possible.
    3. Communications, invoices, confirmations, and notices relating to services may be delivered electronically through the Platform or the contact address registered by the User. The User is responsible for keeping that address accessible. The parties may retain evidence of electronic communications for purposes of proof in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
    4. A failure or delay by the Operator in exercising or enforcing any right under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right. A waiver of a right is effective only if expressly stated in writing by the party entitled to it, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
